About Euphonic Charity

In Which I Recount the (Mis)Adventures of a Reluctantly Single Twenty Something in Her Late Somethings  Not-Quite-But-Almost-Crazy Cat Lady (Who Simply Lacks A Cat)

It began as the tale of my online dating adventures.

On October 30, 2013, I created a Plenty of Fish profile. Thus ensued a grand adventure in which I exchanged computer text pleasantries, distributed my phone number to people claiming to be single men, met with random strangers, and lived to tell the tale (Along the way, I even formed a few unexpected friendships). Did I find love? Not yet. But you can read about my random (frequently hilarious) journey as I attempted to navigate the foreign land of online romance in my posts dated October-December 2013.

I took a break from updating when casual dating turned into an actual relationship with The Physicist (preservation of privacy, ethics, and whatnot). I took a long break following the end of that relationship in which I built a business that led to a TON of life changes. But now I’m back to both online dating and writing. One doesn’t cease having (mis)adventures merely because the nature of the adventure changes, and it is time to start recording them once more!

To live is an awfully big adventure.

But it’s always more fun when adventure is shared, so be sure to subscribe to my blog so you can receive notification when new posts are added. (I’m not exactly on a posting schedule, so updates tend to be sporadic).

Disclaimer: All of these posts represent my own thoughts, experiences, and perspectives. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I do speak for myself in the assumption that there are others out there who can relate. ^_-

      1. You’re welcome! According to the person who nominated me, these are the rules:

-Post a picture of the Sunshine award in the blog post (the picture can be found on the link I posted above)
-Post 11 random facts about yourself.
-Answer the 11 questions from the blogger who nominated you.
-Nominate 11 bloggers. If you can’t think of 11 bloggers, you could nominate a lower number.
-Write 11 questions for them to answer
-Let the nominated blogger know you have nominated them.

  1. You wrote on the Blogging101 board that your blog is probably more for women — I disagree. I think single dudes could benefit from reading your blog. Have you seen that Bravo show “Dating Habits of the Single Man”? It’s disgusting. I’d like to think those guys would get an education on how they come across on a date when they read about it through your perspective.

I’m also glad that you didn’t let your relationship status affect your blog activity. Keep it up, Charity!

    1. Thanks, James,
Unfortunately, the people on Bravo’s show, though they probably would benefit from reading my perspective, are among my least-likely readers. ah well… 🙂
      Thanks for the support!

    1. Thank you very much for the honor!
Alas, due to some time constraints (see the post I JUST published about ten seconds ago ^_-), I must decline; but I appreciate the nomination, lovely lady!
